Old Chickahominy House

Restaurant and Antiques - Williamsburg, Virginia

We started in 1955 in an old one story building near the Chickahominy River. At that time it was a tea room serving ham biscuits and homemade pie as well as selling antiques, gas, and cigarettes.

After a robbery, Miss Melinda found this property on Jamestown Road. The building was ready in 1962 and was constructed of new materials and architectural salvage from the area.

Good Southern cooking. Reminiscent of old-fashioned Virginia tearooms, this Colonial-style restaurant has delectable goodies served up by sweet, grandmotherly types. For breakfast there's Virginia ham and eggs, made-from-scratch biscuits, country bacon, sausage, and grits. Lunch brings Brunswick stew, Virginia ham biscuits, fruit salad, and homemade pie.

Open for Breakfast and Lunch. MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
